You were saved to love...

1 John 4:7-21 rattled me this week. It was the text for the message on Friday at the Rock and it was a text specifically for me. This, at times, is one of the many blessings of preaching - you are forced to confront passages that you must first preach to yourself. I'll leave you with a statement of the theme and an encouragement to listen to the message.

"God saves people to make them loving and they will know they are saved if they love only because they are saved."

If we are not loving like God loves, we are wasting our lives.
